Privacy & Inquiry Data Notice
This notice explains how information submitted through GRANITY website forms and website-initiated email is used to review industrial product, engineering and partnership requests.
Scope and responsible contact
This notice applies when a visitor submits an RFQ, engineering question, CAD or datasheet request, partnership application, or direct email initiated from granityprecision.com. It does not replace a separate notice supplied for a specific contract, employment process or offline relationship.
GRANITY is the industrial brand and website operator presented on this site. Questions about inquiry data can be sent to the contact address below. This business website is not directed to children.
Information we receive
The information depends on the request and is limited to what is reasonably needed to route and assess it.
- Business contact details, such as name, company, work email, phone number, website and country or region.
- Project information, including product interest, target model, application, quantity, timing, machine or robot context and delivery destination.
- Files or technical details the visitor chooses to provide, including drawings, specifications and links.
- Basic request, device and security records needed to operate, protect and diagnose the website and forms.
Why we use inquiry data
GRANITY uses inquiry data to take the action requested by the visitor and to operate a reliable business response process.
- Route the request to the appropriate sales, engineering or channel contact and communicate about it.
- Assess product fit, prepare a quotation, coordinate CAD or technical resources, and evaluate a potential partnership.
- Maintain reasonable operational, security and business records and comply with applicable requirements.
The legal basis depends on the visitor, jurisdiction and request. It may include steps requested before a business relationship, legitimate operation of the inquiry service, legal obligations, or consent where consent is required. GRANITY does not use inquiry data for unrelated marketing without a separate appropriate choice.
Retention, security and technical files
Inquiry data is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the resulting business record, meet applicable legal or security needs, and resolve follow-up questions. Records are reviewed and removed or anonymized when they are no longer needed.
Reasonable organizational and technical controls are used to limit access. Website forms are not a secure engineering data room. Do not submit confidential production drawings, export-controlled material or personal data that is not needed for the request unless GRANITY has agreed an appropriate transfer method.
Access, correction and other choices
Depending on applicable law, an individual may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. GRANITY may need to verify the requester and may retain information where the law or an active business record requires it.
GRANITY does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects from website inquiry data. Material updates to this notice will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
